Recent decrees of the Russian President are imposing more and more restrictions on payments, settlements, and transactions involving foreign persons. Leading Forte Tax & Law lawyers will host a free webinar to talk about the key restrictions imposed on transactions with a foreign element and share their current experience.

Speakers
Julia Talagaeva, Senior Associate, Forte Tax & Law
Julia has been providing legal support to Russian and international clients in the area of corporate law for more than 15 years. She specializes in providing support to clients conducting major transactions, management buyouts, entering and exiting the Russian market, undergoing liquidation procedures and takeovers. Since 2022, Julia has gained considerable experience of regulatory practices in preparing for transactions, specifically in obtaining authorizations from the Russian Government Commission and the Russian Federal Anti-Monopoly Service. Julia has handled several dozen projects aimed at obtaining such authorizations.
Julia is recognized as one of Russia’s best lawyers in the Best Lawyers, Pravo.ru-300, and Kommersant rankings. She co-chairs the Legal Committee of the Saint Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA).
Artem Eretenko, Associate, Forte Tax & Law
Artem has been providing legal support to businesses since 2017 and has amassed extensive experience in advising Russian and foreign clients on a wide range of issues, including M&A, setting up and winding up companies. Artem also provides legal support to clients in obtaining approvals for transactions from by Russian anti-monopoly authorities and has a proven track record of obtaining authorizations from the Russian Government Commission as part of foreign trade activities.
