Mikhail Borodin has joined Forte Tax & Law as counsel and head of German Desk

We are delighted to announce that Mikhail Borodin has joined Forte Tax & Law as counsel. Mikhail will also head Forte Tax & Law German Desk which is also a new addition to the firm.

Mikhail has been advising international clients (Europe, USA, Asia) doing business in Russia and Russian clients abroad for over 20 years. The vast majority of Mikhail’s clients are companies from German-speaking countries.

Mikhail perfectly understands Western, Russian and Asian business cultures, their philosophies, mindsets, business ethos and attitudes.

Throughout his career, Mikhail has specialized in corporate law, cross-border transactions, legal support of foreign investments in Russia and Russian investments abroad; he has also gained extensive experience in M&A, real estate transaction and joint venture support as well as legal support of Russian and international companies.

Mikhail joined the Forte Tax & Law team after 10 years of private practice under the brand Borodin Legal. Before establishing his own private practice, Mikhail worked for some of the leading international law firms in Moscow and St. Petersburg and was, in particular, partner at the largest German firm in Russia.
