Julia Talagaeva shared lifehacks for migration registration of foreigners in Russia

A joint meeting of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce and the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce was held last Friday on October 11, 2019 to discuss migration regulation.

Julia Talagaeva, senior associate at Forte Tax & Law, made a presentation at this meeting and shared with the audience some nuances and lifehacks for migration registration. The practical advice that Julia shared is based on years of experience providing support to companies employing foreign nationals as highly qualified specialists in Russia.

 

Julia answered complex and tricky questions such as, for example, when is it possible to register an employee at an organization’s registered address? Can a foreign employee who owns an apartment register himself? Julia also spoke about the particularities of migration registration of foreign nationals traveling around Russia.
