On April 10, 2024, Kommersant released the results of its annual survey—a ranking of Russia’s best law firms. One of the features of this survey is that it assesses not only the best industry practices and ranks individual lawyers. Researchers recognized the expertise of Forte Tax & Law in each of these areas.

On March 19, 2024, the Pravo.ru portal published its annual individual lawyers ranking by area of law. This research is a continuation of the Pravo.ru-300 Law Firm Ranking that was released last December.

On March 6, 2024, the Saint Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA) hosted its annual conference ‘Taxes 2024’. Anton Kabakov, Partner at Forte Tax & Law, spoke on changes in transfer pricing taking effect in 2024.

The November issue of the Zakon magazine has published an article by Anton Kabakov, Partner at Forte Tax & Law, on a most topical issue—the inclusion of dividends in the customs value.

On December 4, 2023, Rossiyskaya Gazeta released a new annual ranking of lawyers for the first time. A feature of this ranking is that participating in it does not involve filling out any standard questionnaires. Instead, law firms are invited to provide, in any convenient format, information about their key lawyers and the achievements that they consider significant.

On June 21–23, 2023, the Chamber of Tax Consultants held a hands-on workshop ‘International Tax Planning—A Turn to the East’. Anton Kabakov spoke at this event on one of the days devoted to the tax aspects of changes in the format of international cooperation.

On June 15, SPIBA hosted a webinar “Course for the East—Business in China, Hong Kong, and Thailand” initiated by Forte Tax & Law. Anton Kabakov moderated the event, and Mikhail Borodin talked about entering the Thai market and doing business in Thailand.

On June 14, the Taxes and Financial Reporting Committee of the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce held a regular meeting. Alina Aleksandrova talked about the de-registration of digital service providers with Russian tax authorities

The portal Pravo.ru published on February 21 its annual individual ranking of lawyers by area of law as a continuation of Pravo.ru-300 law firm rating, the results of which were announced in December.

On January 11, 2023, the Committee on Taxes and Financial Reporting of the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce held its first meeting this year, at which Anton Kabakov gave a presentation.
