Note: Notification forms for foreign employees have changed
From April 20, 2018 onwards [1], employers will be required to use new forms when sending to the Department of Migration Matters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, among others, the following notices regarding foreign employees[2]:
- Notice of salary payment to foreign national hired as highly qualified specialist;
- Notice of conclusion of employment or civil law contract with foreign national;
- Notice of termination (expiration) of employment or civil law contract with foreign national.
If, after the aforementioned deadline, employers send a notice on old form, they could be subject to fine of up to RUB 1,000,000 [3].
Please note that the deadline for submission of notices of salary payment to highly qualified specialists for the 1st quarter of 2018 is April 28, 2018.
