Ekaterina Belyaeva told Delovoy Peterburg about the requirements for employers offering internships to students
Delovoy Peterburg published last week its latest Practical Legal Advice which addresses a series of legal issues raised by its readership and answered, as usual, by leading practicing lawyers.
Ekaterina Belyaeva, associate at Forte Tax & Law, commented to Delovoy Peterburg on the requirements for employers offering internships to students. The list of requirements, as it turns out, is quite commanding: companies must ensure that their trainees/interns have been familiarized with their internal work regulations, have gone through health and safety training as well as fire and occupational safety training. Ekaterina noted that these requirements are imposed for a good reason: “In our opinion, these rules for students are established for a good reason. When interning especially in companies with harmful working conditions, students should be informed on how to avoid harm to health.”
