Ekaterina Belyaeva talked to pravo.ru about dismissal on non-standard grounds

This week, pravo.ru published an article on the dismissal of employees on less common grounds such as the submission of fake credentials, disclosure of trade secrets, and other unusual grounds. Ekaterina Belyaeva, Associate at Forte Tax & Law, commented on the legal aspects of dismissal due to loss of trust.

“The Labor Code provides no specific list of circumstances that can be considered as grounds for loss of trust, so employers may themselves qualify employees’ actions, taking into account the employees’ personality, the circumstances of their wrongdoing, and its severity,” notes Ekaterina.
