It used to be mandatory for foreign nationals arriving in Russia to have a negative PCR test taken no more than 3 calendar days prior to their arrival in Russia

Federal Law No. 236-FZ was signed, published, and entered into force immediately on July 1, 2021. This Law provides for mandatory requirements, prohibitions, and restrictions on foreign entities operating on the internet in Russia.

Presidential Decree No. 364 dated June 15, 2021 has extended again the duration of temporary stay in Russia for foreign nationals.

The Russian government continues easing the restrictions on entry to Russia.

In addition to the already well-known Presidential Decree on non-working days in May 2021, the Ministry of Labor has issued its recommendations on the application of this decree in practice.
