Anton Kabakov spoke at a meeting of the accounting working group of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce

A regular meeting of the accounting working group of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce was held online on October 30. Anton Kabakov, partner at Forte Tax & Law, spoke at this meeting which was initially set up to exchange views and practice of current changes in tax and accounting laws.

Anton told guests, accountants, and finance department employees about tax control over the amount of interest in intragroup loans.

Anton also spoke about national restrictions on interest in intragroup loans, how interest has been limited since 2015. Anton also talked about safe harbors, mentioning actual interest is to be in a “safe corridor”.

He also mentioned the new approaches of the OECD to the pricing in intragroup loans.

Anton finished his presentation by giving important practical recommendations for intragroup loans.
