Anton Kabakov gave some transfer pricing news and moderated the annual conference Taxes 2021

The latest conference Taxes 2021 organized by  St. Petersburg International Business Association  (SPIBA) was held on February 9, 2021. The purpose of this annual event is to sum up the tax results of the past year as well as outline trends and prospects. Understandably, the conference was held online this year. Lilia Falaleeva, Deputy Chairman of St. Petersburg Finance Committee, was a special guest at the conference.

Anton Kabakov, partner at Forte Tax & Law and co-chairman of SPIBA Finance Committee, moderated the event as tradition would have it. Anton also made a presentation on transfer pricing news and spoke about tax price control in 2019-2020, bringing up some statistics and noting that transactions with intangible assets, financial transactions, and intragroup services are subject to scrutiny. Speaking about the changes in transfer pricing regulation, Anton noted the long-awaited change in “safe harbors” and addressed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on transfer pricing.
