Evgenii advises Russian and foreign clients on a wide range of civil, corporate, employment, and civil procedure law matters. He has extensive experience in advising on legal regulation of the fuel and energy complex, including pre-gasification.

Before joining Forte Tax & Law, Evgenii worked for more than 17 years in the legal departments of large companies (including Gazprom Group companies) where he held senior positions for many years. For his high level of professionalism, Evgenii was awarded with a letter of thanks from the General Director of Gazprom Gazifikatsiya LLC.

Evgenii is the author of scientific publications on public and private law and maintains a legal blog on the issues of pre-gasification.

• Supervised and improved the quality of litigation in 70 Gazprom Group gas distribution companies;
• Won a lawsuit against the Saint Petersburg Prosecutor’s Office to declare illegal the decision to impose a downtime at the Saint Petersburg House of Books during the Covid-19 restrictions (this was one of the few successful cases of this kind throughout Russia);
• Prepared an original legal position on the case of assignment of claims, which became the subject of consideration in the Russian Supreme State Arbitration Court;
• Won several bankruptcy cases valued at more than €1,100,000 involving disputes over the inclusion of claims in the register of creditors’ claims.
