Entry to Russia for citizens from Great Britain, Turkey, Tanzania, and Switzerland, as well as persons holding a residence permit in these countries
Citizens from Great Britain, Turkey, Tanzania, and Switzerland, as well as persons holding a residence permit or other document confirming their permanent residence right in these countries are now entitled to enter Russia without a special entry permit if the following conditions are met simultaneously:
- If they enter Russia from the country of which they are a citizen or in which they have a residence permit (or other similar document); and
- They arrive in Russia and cross the Russian border through air checkpoints (i.e. by direct flight).
The processing of visa invitations and visas for citizens from these countries has also been resumed.
Please note, however, that anyone arriving in Russia must provide a negative COVID test as well as fill out a special form. People are also required to self-isolate for 14 days if they have arrived in Russia to work. For more detailed information, please click on the link
