Anton Kabakov acted as moderator at the annual conference Taxes 2019

The now well-established annual tax conference organized by SPIBA Finance Committee was held on March 05, 2019, and a whole host of business representatives (lawyers, CFOs, accountants and tax specialists) attended this event.

Anton Kabakov, Partner at Forte Tax & Law and co-chairman of SPIBA Finance Committee, moderated the event and also made a presentation on Tax Trends in 2018. Anton outlined the main trends in current tax practice and spoke, in particular, about the requalification of loans as equity and of active income as passive. Anton also described how the law on unjustified tax benefit is applied in practice.

This year, many topics were addressed by the speakers at the event who also discussed the much-talked-about Google tax, the changes in corporate property tax, transfer pricing and right to income.
